Lawrence Cohen

Lawrence Cohen currently serves as Managing Director and Global Head of Technology and Operations at Lazard Asset Management since August 2022. Previously, from 2019 to 2021, Lawrence held the position of President at FIRST, a global nonprofit focused on inspiring young people in science and technology through robotics programs. Prior experience includes roles at AllianceBernstein as Partner and Global Head of Operations and Technology (2004-2017), and various leadership positions in renowned financial institutions including UBS, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity Investments, Morgan Stanley, First Boston Corporation, and State Street. Lawrence's extensive background encompasses strategic planning, technology governance, and management across multiple domains of technology and operations in the finance sector. Lawrence holds an A.B. in Engineering and Applied Sciences from Harvard University.
