Gokulakrishnan Baskaran

Gokulakrishnan Baskaran has worked as a Senior Project Estimator/Project Coordinator at Lb Electric Company Llc since 2017. In this role, they provide electrical/communication construction design, layouts, and calculations, manages and coordinates construction activities for projects ranging from $2M - $30M, and is responsible for the supervision of engineering and technical supply.

Prior to their current position, Gokulakrishnan worked as a Project Engineer Intern at Siemens from June 2013 to January 2014. During this internship, they worked on the Chennai Metro Rail Ltd Urban Infrastructure project, specifically in the GIS Traction Substation designing and overhead equipment system division. Gokulakrishnan'sresponsibilities included performing Material take-offs (MTO), reviewing project specifications, and developing system or equipment submittals.

Gokulakrishnan Baskaran holds a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, which was obtained from the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Anna University from 2011 to 2015. Gokulakrishnan's high school education was obtained at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School (PSBB) from 1996 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Gokulakrishnan has also obtained several certifications. Gokulakrishnan earned a certification in Construction Finance from Coursera in June 2020, a certification in Construction Law from the National Business Institute (NBI, Inc.) in October 2019, and a certification in Advanced Estimating of Electrical Construction from the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) in October 2018. Additionally, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco in July 2016.
