Alex Grintsvayg

Alex Grintsvayg is the Founder and Chief Technical Officer at LBRY, a blockchain-based digital content marketplace. Alex has over ten years of experience in the tech industry, with a focus on building consumer-facing applications.

Prior to LBRY, Alex was the Founder and CTO of TopScore, an online platform that helps athletes keep track of their progress and see their improvement over time. TopScore was used by hundreds of thousands of athletes in over 100 countries around the world.

Before TopScore, Alex founded WithFit, a fitness logging platform that was used by Crossfit gyms to help their members track their workouts and see their progress over time.

Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a cognitive scientist at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, where they designed cognitive models of expert performance on ship control tasks. These models were used to train conning officers, allowing a single instructor to work with multiple students at once.

Alex Grintsvayg's educational career includes a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as research in cognitive science. Prior to that, they attended Stuyvesant High School where they studied computer science.

Their manager is Jeremy Kauffman, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Josh Finer - Founder & Director, Operations, Jack Robison - Founder & Protocol Engineer.
