Joey Estrella has a extensive background in senior living and hospitality management. Starting as a Food Services Director at Marriott International in 2002, they progressed to roles such as Director of Food and Beverage Services at HCR ManorCare and Regional Director of Food and Dining Services at Five Star Senior Living. Joey held various executive director positions at Brookdale, Charles E. Smith Life Communities, and most recently at LCB Senior Living, LLC. Joey Estrella received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2000. Prior to that, between 1992 and 2000, they pursued a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Management Studies at the University of Maryland. Joey also obtained an Associate's Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Montgomery College in 1992. Joey'shigh school education was completed at Magruder High School from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, Joey obtained certifications in Adult and Child CPR/First Aid from the American Red Cross in 2013, as well as Maryland Certified Assisted Living Manager ALM in 2010. Joey is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner, certified by the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF CERTIFIED DEMENTIA PRACTITIONERS, LLC.
