Brian "Scott" Peal has extensive experience in the IT field, starting with their role as an EAI Architect at CHICO'S Retail Services from August 2004 to March 2006. Brian "Scott" then worked as a Technical Director at Perficient, Inc. from April 2006 to February 2007. Following that, they served as the Chief Enterprise IT Architect at Burger King Corporation from 2007 to March 2008. Brian "Scott" then joined Source Interlink Companies as the Chief Technology Architect & Director of BI, Portals, and QA from March 2008 to November 2009. Afterward, they launched their own company, Company Automation LLC, where they served as the owner and provided consultation services for various businesses in architecture, business intelligence, data warehouse, and software development from July 2010 to March 2013. Currently, they are the IT Department Head for Architecture, BI, Application Support, ECM, and Development at LCEC since March 2013.
Brian "Scott" Peal attended Clemson University from 1989 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering with a focus on Computer Engineering and Physics. Brian "Scott" then enrolled at The Open University in 2014 and completed the Masters of Science in Software Engineering program in 2015.

LCEC is a not-for-profit electric distribution cooperative. We energize the community by providing reliable, cost-competitive electric and emerging energy solutions and quality service to our customer members. We serve customers throughout five counties in pristine, beautiful Southwest Florida. LCEC was formed in 1940 to serve areas no other utility wanted to serve. Today the membership has grown to nearly 200,000 and includes cities such as Cape Coral, Marco Island, Sanibel-Captiva and Everglades City along with areas such as North Fort Myers, Immokalee, Ave Maria and parts of Lehigh Acres. Employees are committed to serving the community through volunteerism and philanthropic endeavors. LCEC is among the top contributors to United Way and is involved in everything from the arts, education, and wellness to local economic development, Chambers of Commerce and many civic organizations. Energizing the community is about delivering electricity but it is so much more to LCEC. It is people, power and possibilities.
