Zac Duryea

Zac Duryea is a skilled professional in sustainable design and engineering with extensive experience in the built environment. Currently a Co-Founder at Phycologic since August 2020, Zac focuses on leveraging the photosynthetic capabilities of algae to enhance indoor air quality. As a Senior Sustainable Design Engineer at LCI Consultants, Zac optimizes design in various aspects of sustainability, including operational energy, embodied carbon, and biodiversity. Prior roles at Stantec included Sustainability Engineer and Graduate Sustainability Engineer, where Zac contributed to eco-friendly development practices. Additionally, Zac managed horticultural teams at The Primary Tree and gained hands-on experience as a Joiner. Zac holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Sydney.
