Alissa Johnson has a diverse professional background, beginning with their role as a GK-12 Fellow with the National Science Foundation from 2004 to 2005. After that, they worked as an Adoption Room Coordinator at Maddie's Fund from 2005 to 2006. Alissa then joined Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, where they served as an Industrial Engineer from 2006 to 2007 and later as a Safety Engineer from 2007 to 2010.
Following their time at Lockheed Martin, Alissa worked at Sodexo Remote Sites as a QHSE Data Analyst from 2010 to 2011. Alissa then transitioned to the healthcare industry, taking on the role of Telemedicine Data Analyst at Ochsner Health System from 2011 to 2014. During their time at Ochsner, they also served as an EPIC Application Coordinator for Hospital Billing from 2011 to 2013.
In 2014, Alissa joined Willis Group US as a Data Analytics Analyst, working on the Deepwater Horizon Economic Claims Center. In this role, they collaborated with various teams to detect fraud within financial claims by performing data-mining activities and creating dynamic financial damages theories.
Most recently, Alissa worked as an IT Systems Analyst at LCMC Health starting in 2016. This concludes their work experience up to the present.
Alissa Johnson began their education journey in 2001 at The University of Alabama, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistical Mathematics. Alissa completed their undergraduate studies in 2005.
Afterwards, in 2005, they continued their education at The University of Alabama, specializing in Applied Statistics with a focus on Data Mining. This specialization lasted until 2006.
Throughout their education history, Alissa Johnson demonstrated a strong interest in statistics and mathematics, specifically in the field of data mining.
