Thao Nguyen

Thao Nguyen's work experience includes positions at LCMC Health and Children's Hospital New Orleans. Thao started working at LCMC Health in May 2021 as an IT Senior Clinical Systems Analyst - Pharmacist. Prior to that, Thao spent several years at Children's Hospital New Orleans, where they held various roles such as Clinical Pharmacist, Transplant Pharmacist, Investigational Pharmacist, Preceptor, Pharmacist Supervisor, and Staff Pharmacist. Thao's tenure at Children's Hospital New Orleans lasted from September 2012 to May 2021.

Thao Nguyen completed a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at Xavier University of Louisiana from 2006 to 2012. Later, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Science in Health Informatics from The College of St. Scholastica. Thao has also obtained several certifications, including the Basics Badge in BestPractice Advisories from Epic, the Inpatient Pharmacist Clinical Tools Builder Accreditation from Epic, the Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2016 certification from Microsoft, and the Willow Inpatient Accreditation from Epic.
