Kurt Fuhr currently serves as a Gift Planning Counselor at The LCMS Foundation, providing assistance with estate planning and charitable giving to congregations and individuals since September 2022. Prior to this role, Kurt was a Training and Development Specialist at Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) from November 2016 to July 2022, where responsibilities included developing and delivering training content for staff. Kurt also held the position of Regional Vice President at LCEF, focusing on establishing the Central Regional office and serving the borrowing needs of member congregations. With earlier experience as Vice President at LCEF from 1998 to 2016 and project leadership roles at GMAC RFC and GMAC-Rescap, Kurt has extensive expertise in church lending and asset marketing. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
