Ken Price is currently theCOO at LCRA. Prior to this, they held various positions at Luminant, TXU, and TXU Electric Delivery. Ken has been in the energy industry for over 30 years and has held various managerial positions during their career. Ken is responsible for operating Luminant’s Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) in ERCOT, maximizing the cash month P&L of Luminant's asset portfolio, and working to optimize the operational capabilities of Luminant’s power plants with the power market. Ken is also responsible for the operations of Luminant’s generation control system.
Ken Price completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
Ken Price reports to Phil Wilson, General Manager. Ken Price works with Randa Stephenson - Chief Commercial Officer, John Hofmann - EVP, Water, and Jim Travis - Chief Financial Officer.
