Katie Emslie

Katie Emslie has a diverse range of work experience starting in 2011 as a Watchmaker's Assistant at Horological Services. In 2013, they worked as a Legislative Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives and also served as a Resident Assistant at the University of Connecticut. Katie then joined Kennesaw State University in 2015 and held roles as a Residence Hall Director and later as an Education Abroad Program Coordinator. In 2019, they moved to Fernbank Museum of Natural History as a Project Coordinator. In 2022, they joined the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum as a Marketing & Communications Coordinator before moving to their current position as a Project Manager at LeadCoverage in 2023.

Katie Emslie has a strong educational background in the field of political science, history, and international relations. Katie pursued their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, Katie Emslie continued their education and obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of North Georgia, focusing on global relations and diplomacy. Additionally, they have demonstrated their expertise and commitment to professional development by obtaining the Asana Ambassador certification from Asana in May 2022.
