Shweta Mohapatra

Shweta Mohapatra has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Shweta is currently working as a Creative Director (Learning Product) at LEAD School starting from March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at XSEED Education as a Creative Director (Product Development) from August 2016 to March 2022, where they were responsible for building and mentoring the design team, as well as conceptualizing and designing various ed-tech products. Shweta also served as an Art Director, leading design and art direction for English and EP books.

Before joining XSEED, Shweta Mohapatra worked as an Associate Faculty at Pearl Academy from January 2011 to October 2013, where they taught visual communication design courses and mentored students. Shweta also redesigned the assessment matrix to effectively measure student progress.

Shweta Mohapatra is also a co-founder of Collective Craft, an artisan-centric design initiative focused on creating environmentally responsible design solutions. Shweta worked at Collective Craft from August 2007 to August 2013.

In addition, they have worked as a Freelance Design Consultant for multiple companies from February 2005 to July 2013, as a Senior Animator at Miditech Studios on the Sesame Street project from July 2006 to June 2007, as an Animator at Future Thought Productions from December 2004 to December 2005, and as an Animation Film Designer at RamMohan Biographics from December 2003 to November 2004, where they were involved in the production of a student diploma animation film.

Shweta Mohapatra holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design with a specialization in Animation Film Design from the National Institute of Design, which they completed from 1999 to 2004. Shweta also obtained a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Art/Art Studies from the Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art, completed in 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they have a certification in Gamification for Interactive Learning from LinkedIn, obtained in 2019.
