Stella Francescone

Stella Francescone is an Undergraduate Student Researcher at AIDA - Artificial Intelligence Driving Autonomous, Politecnico di Milano, focusing on planning strategies for autonomous driving cars. As a mentee of Lead The Future Mentorship, Stella is one of the few selected Italian students benefiting from guidance by high-impact mentors in STEM fields. In addition, Stella serves as a Student Teacher at GoStudent, aiding high school students in scientific subjects. Previous experience includes contributing to the navigation algorithm as a team member at Alma-X and participating in the European Rover Challenge 2021. Stella holds a Master's Degree in Automation and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Other educational experiences include a brief program at Delft University of Technology and studies at Isep - École d'ingénieurs du numérique. Stella's foundational education includes a high school diploma from Liceo scientifico Luca da Penne-Mario dei Fiori and ongoing studies at Edinburgh College.
