Nada Abdelaziz has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations and roles. Nada began their career at Arab American Leadership Initiative Foundation, where they worked as an English as a Second Language Teacher. Nada then moved on to the International Rescue Committee, where they served as an Extended Services Casework Management Intern.
Nada's experience also includes roles at Rutgers University - Newark, where they worked as an Assistant Area Director and Resident Assistant in the Office of Housing and Residence Life. Nada also served as an Office Assistant and Resident Mentor - Transition for Youth in the School of Social Work.
At Harvard University, Nada worked as a Resident Director for the Pre-College Program. Nada later joined NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education as The Placement Exchange Ambassador.
Nada then transitioned to the University of Florida, where they held several positions including Event Support Team member in the Department of Student Government Advising & Operations, Assistant for Operations and Enrollment Management in The Office of Admissions, Life Coach for the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars, Graduate Hall Director in the Office of Housing and Residence Education, and Student Support Services Graduate Intern for TRiO. Nada also served as an Area Government Advisor for the Inter-Residence Hall Association and an Intern for the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholar program.
Currently, Nada works at Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (LEDA) as the Director of College Success. In this role, they oversee and implements college success programming and advising for over 400 LEDA Scholars. Nada manages various aspects of College Success operations, including budgeting and event planning. Prior to this, they worked at LEDA as a College Success Counselor, where they advised and counseled a caseload of over 280 LEDA Scholars and created and managed the Peer Mentoring Program.
Throughout their career, Nada has demonstrated a commitment to supporting and empowering students and young individuals in various capacities, specifically in the areas of academia, career planning, and personal development.
Nada Abdelaziz pursued their education at Rutgers University - Newark from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Following this, they attended the University of Florida from 2016 to 2018, obtaining a Master of Education (MEd) with a focus on Higher Education/Higher Education Administration.
