Ray Winkler

Ray Winkler serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Leadership Prep School since June 2025. Prior to this role, Ray held the position of Senior Executive Director, Division Lead at Houston ISD, where significant improvements were made in the performance of schools within the 85 Central Division, resulting in the elimination of "F" rated schools and a reduction in "D" rated campuses. Ray also contributed as Senior Executive Director of Support at Highland Park ISD and has experience as Director of Curriculum and Instruction & Academic Support. Ray Winkler's educational background includes a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, both from the University of North Texas.
