Nicky Mora

A graduate of UC Santa Cruz, Nicky Mora joins the Leadership Public Schools Network with more than 20 years of communications experience. Over the course of her career, she has held the role of Creative Services Producer at KTVU Fox 2, Senior Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at Oakland Zoo, and Communications and Public Relations Specialist at Pittsburg Unified School District. A storyteller at heart, she uses multimedia to coordinate, share, and spread positive stories about LPS. She thrives on learning new communication tools to create meaningful videos and social media assets. Nicky is thrilled to have the opportunity to work at LPS part-time and help share the vision of the Network in the Bay Area. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, two small children, and three cats.
