Erin Davis has a strong background in education and instructional leadership. Erin has worked for various organizations and schools, starting with their role as Lead 3rd Grade Teacher at Tulsa Public Schools, where they demonstrated impressive results in improving student academic performance and advocating for special needs students. Erin then moved on to become a Founding 3rd Grade Teacher at Lighthouse Academies before joining Teach For America as a Manager of Teacher Leadership Development and later as a Director, Elementary. At Teach For America, Erin successfully trained new teachers and managed curriculum specialists to achieve significant student growth. Erin then transitioned to IDEA Public Schools as an Assistant Principal of Instruction, responsible for achieving distinctions and providing coaching and development to teachers. Erin Davis began their education at The Ohio State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Spanish Language and Literature. The duration of their undergraduate studies is unknown. Erin then enrolled at the University of Oklahoma from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Administration, Curriculum and Supervision. Following their master's degree, Erin pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Foundations of Education at Oklahoma State University, starting in 2019. It is unclear if they have completed their doctoral studies.

In addition to their formal education, Erin has obtained several certifications.
