Rikkert Nachtegaal has a wealth of experience in the tech industry. Rikkert began their career in 2000 as an ASP-developer for SoftMerce. In 2001, they became a Junior Perl-developer for Vergelijk.nl B.V. and then in 2003 they were a Researcher at TNO FEL. In 2005, they returned to Vergelijk.nl B.V. as a Senior Web Developer. In 2006, they became Owner and Data & ETL specialist - DBA (MySQL) - Backend developer (PHP) at N-ovate BV. In 2007, they took on multiple roles such as Co-founder, Data specialist, Back end Developer, and DBA at Leadingcourses.com and Senior Data and Application Specialist and Freelance Senior Webdeveloper at Compare Group, as well as Senior Web Developer at Telegraaf Media ICT. Finally, they are Co-owner & Developer at FindMyDouble.com.

Rikkert Nachtegaal obtained a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Delft University of Technology between 1997 and 2004. Prior to that, they attended the same university from 1996 to 1997, studying Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis & Management. Rikkert completed their secondary education at CSG Jacob van Liesveldt between 1990 and 1996, where they obtained a VWO with a focus on English, Dutch, German, Latin, Mathematics B, Physics, and Chemistry.
