Isaac V. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to present. In 2008, they served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where they were responsible for overseeing and implementing information security controls, managing information handling procedures, network administration, radio and satellite communications, inventory accountability, and small unit leadership. During this time, they authored an order governing the ongoing Information Security Practices for a battalion of over 1000 Marines and managed an IT center with over 500 users, 1000 devices, and three independent networks with 99% uptime and no security incidents.

From 2015 to 2021, Isaac V. has held various software engineering roles. In 2015, they were an Information Technology Intern at Energy Federation Incorporated, where they developed a quality assurance tool using Spring MVC and designed a Business Requirements Document template. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Akamai Technologies, where they developed high-efficiency edge-server modules for the prevention of internet-based attacks, and a Software Engineering Intern at Lookout, where they designed and implemented a new auditing system, improved statistics gathering methods, and developed new debugging tools. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer at DNV GL, where they were responsible for Azure SaaS Solution Development, .NET Server Development, Vue.js Client Development, Data Requirements Analysis, and Azure DevOps Backlog Management. Lastly, they are currently a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Leadr.

Isaac V. attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2016 and a Master of Science in Computer Science in 2017.
