Bas Jacobs

Bas Jacobs is an accomplished legal professional specializing in space law and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as a Space Law & Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Leaf Space, Bas is involved in establishing Earth Stations for satellite services and advocating for radio frequency allocations. Previous experience includes internships at the European Space Agency and legal roles at the European Civil Aviation Conference and The Space Court Foundation. Bas has contributed to significant projects on international space law, evidenced by involvement in the Big Book of National Space Law. Educational credentials include an Advanced LL.M in Air and Space Law, a Master of Laws in Public International Law, and a Bachelor's degree in International Justice from Leiden University, complemented by various international programs in human rights, sustainable diplomacy, and negotiation.
