Nicola is the Food Technologist at Leaft Foods, leading the new product creation from market identification, ideation, lab testing, validation, factory trials through to commercialisation. With technical oversight across the business, Nicola is looking beyond the normal to find the extraordinary.
After graduating B.Tech(Food Tech) from Massey Nicola embarked on a career in consumer dairy product development. A change of tack then led to a youth development role sailing with the Spirit of Adventure Trust. Navigating back to the food industry Nicola moved into Export Dairy UHT Product Development and subsequently Quality Management leadership.
