Partnerships Manager at Leafwell

Jake Agliata has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Currently, they serve as the Partnerships Manager at Leafwell since 2022. Previously, they worked as the Policy and Communications Officer at the International Network of People who Use Drugs from October 2019 to September 2022. In this role, they managed partnerships with UN agencies, facilitated workshops on civil society engagement, and authored and edited advocacy statements. Before that, they held positions at Students for Sensible Drug Policy, including International Program Manager and Regional Outreach Coordinator. In these roles, they managed international programs, provided training to student chapters, and contributed to various UN agencies. Additionally, they contributed a bi-monthly column as an Op-Ed Contributor for The Dickinsonian and served as an Executive Board Member at 88.3 WDCV Dickinson College Radio. Jake also gained experience as an Intern at the Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute, where they conducted research, assisted in course preparations, and contributed to Holocaust Remembrance Month.

Jake Agliata's education history begins with their completion of a Scholar's Diploma at Central Bucks High School East in 2010. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, with a minor in Economics, at Dickinson College from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they participated in the K. Robert Nilsson Center for European Studies, focusing on International Studies and Economics. Most recently, from 2018 to 2019, they attended Central European University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Human Rights.
