Shane Rhodes

Shane Rhodes is a seasoned transportation professional with extensive experience in promoting active transportation and sustainable practices. Currently serving as the Transportation Options Program Manager for the City of Eugene since January 2016, Shane leads initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance active transportation modes. Additionally, Shane operates Rhodeside Assistance and holds a position as an LCI Coach with the League of American Bicyclists, where certification of League Cycling Instructors occurs. Previous roles include Program Manager for Eugene Safe Routes to School, a member of Eugene's Active Transportation Committee, and various leadership positions in related organizations. Shane's educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Oregon.
