Alex Major

Alex Major is a versatile music professional with extensive experience in both performance and administration. Currently serving as the Manager of Administration at the League of American Orchestras and previously as Office Coordinator, Alex also has a long-standing role as a Music Instructor at the School of Rock, specializing in private drum set instruction and group classes. As a freelance drummer since 2007, Alex has collaborated with various NYC-based music projects and theater performances. Additionally, Alex is the drummer for the experimental rock band Ellis Ashbrook since 1998. Past administrative roles include Office Manager at Caymichael Patten Studio and Daily Operations Manager at Garment Valet. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Boston University.
