Rosie Spaulding has a diverse and extensive work experience in the sports and events industry. In 2003, they served as the Events and Marketing Manager for the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, where they played a crucial role in the London 2012 Olympic Bid and the development of WPNSA as an Olympic venue. Rosie then joined the Volvo Ocean Race in 2008 as an Operations Manager, responsible for planning and delivering venues and events in multiple countries. Rosie was also the Event Director for the Modern Pentathlon World Cup in 2009, where they led the strategy, planning, and delivery of the event. In 2011, they became the Head of Venues & Partner Integration for the 37th America's Cup, ensuring the successful delivery of events in the U.S. and Europe. Rosie further showcased their expertise as the Vice President of Event Planning & Operations for the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee in 2014, where they led the team responsible for event strategy, planning, and delivery. Rosie's work experience also includes roles at USA Rugby, Stadia Ventures, and the University of San Francisco. Currently, Rosie is a Founding team member at LOVB (League One Volleyball), serving as the COO of LOVB Pro.
Rosie Spaulding has earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors from the University of Portsmouth. During their studies, they specialized in marine and environmental biology.
