Shruti Patel

Shruti Patel is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Clinical Research Assistant at Boston Medical Center since May 2023. In addition, Shruti holds a position as a Research Assistant and Professor Assistant for Dr. Chieh Li in the Applied Psychology Department at Northeastern University, collaborating on an APA 2023 poster proposal and proofreading graduate student papers. Since May 2022, Shruti has been a Peer Mental Health Supporter for Northeastern University’s peer-to-peer support hotline. Previous experiences include research assistance at the Lifespan Emotional Development Lab and service-learning volunteer work at the Castle Square Tenants Organization. Shruti began a commitment to community service as a Seasonal Volunteer at Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen and as a High School Volunteer at Nassau University Medical Center. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Northeastern University, Shruti is expected to graduate in April 2025.
