Georg Knoerr

Georg Knoerr has worked in a variety of roles in the financial industry since 2013. Georg began their career at PayPal in 2013 as an Internal Consultancy & Advice - Customer Support. In 2014, they moved to Amazon as a Fraud Investigator. Georg then joined GoCardless in 2015, where they held the roles of Developer Support Engineer Lead and Developer Support Engineer. In 2017, they joined Monzo Bank as a Financial Crime Operations Lead and Financial Crime Specialist. In 2020, they became Head of Integration at TrueLayer. In 2021, they moved to Wio UAE as an AML Monitoring Lead. Currently, they are the Head of Integrations at Lean Technologies.

Georg Knoerr obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing from Birkbeck, University of London between 2014 and 2017. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention from the International Compliance Association and a Certificate in Retail Banking Conduct of Business (CertRBCB) from The London Institute of Banking & Finance.
