Alexander has also worked as a graduate school at the University of Oxford, where they received the George Webb Medley Prize in 2013 for their thesis on Zambian copper mines.

Alexander Lippert attended Lycée St. Sernin in Toulouse, France before studying economics at the University of Manchester. Alexander then went on to complete a Master of Philosophy in Economics at the University of Oxford.
