Ursula Quan, serves as the Director of Human Resources for Hui O Hana Pono, where she built the HR department and its capability to serve a geographically dispersed business model across various industries and organizations. Hui O Hana Pono is a Hawaii non-profit corporation which owns and operates five for profit companies including The Hana Group Inc., HBC Management Services, Inc. Hana industries, Inc., Hana Enterprises, Inc. and Hana Technologies and Services, Inc. Hui’s family of companies are primarily engaged in Security Services, Base Operations, Facilities Management, and Professional Services.

Ursula has over 23 years of Human Resources experience and shares her expertise in developing and executing strategic HR initiatives, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Retention, Employee Relations, Compensation, Payroll Administration, Benefit Management, HRIS, Labor Law Compliance, Labor Relations, and Diversity.

Prior to joining Hui O Hana Pono, Ursula served as the Branch Manager for a fortune 500 recruiting firm in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.

Ursula is passionate about supporting the Asian and Pacific Islander communities and also serves as a board member for the Pacific American Foundation and Hui O Hana Pono.

Ursula received her undergraduate degree from University of Portland and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Hawaii. She currently holds her SHRM- SCP (Senior Certified Professional) and SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) Certifications.
