Jason Baum

Jason Baum's work experience includes serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Leap Therapeutics since 2023, and previously as the VP, Head of Translational Medicine from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Novartis as the Executive Director, Precision Medicine Leader from 2018 to 2020, and as the Precision Medicine Director from 2017 to 2018. Jason also has experience at Merrimack, where they held roles such as Director, Head of Companion Diagnostics and Biomarkers, Associate Director, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist from 2010 to 2017. Jason began their career at Cell Signaling Technology as a Product Scientist III from 2006 to 2010.

Jason Baum attended Colgate University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Jason then pursued higher education at Boston University from 2000 to 2006 and received a PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry.
