Steven Lam

Steven Lam is an experienced leader in process development and manufacturing within the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Director of Process Development and Manufacturing at Leap Therapeutics since September 2021. At Leap Therapeutics, Steven has successfully led cross-functional CMC teams in the development of clinical-stage biologic therapeutics and managed the technology transfer of drug substance processes to a 2000L scale. Prior to this, Steven held roles as Director of Process Development at Rentschler Biopharma SE and Group Lead of Process Development at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where Steven oversaw therapeutic monoclonal antibody development and contributed to significant cost efficiencies for high-revenue products. Steven began his career at Natrix Separations Inc. and the McMaster Bioseparation Engineering Research Group, focusing on chromatography device development and experimental design, respectively. Steven holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University.
