What are we looking for:

We’re looking for a senior, but hands-on Marketing Operations Manager to work in our dynamic marketing organization to help us scale our global marketing efforts. You will have a visible and very direct impact on driving revenue across channels in our global markets. 

This senior position demands a blend of strategic foresight and a hands-on mindset to achieve operational excellence. This means you will lead the charge by creating the strategy as you will be responsible for executing it.

The role: 

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing operations strategy to support growth. as you will be responsible for building and developing the marketing architecture, operations and processes that all together function as the backbone for revenue generation across channels and tactics, such as inbound, integrated campaigns, ABM programs, events and much more.

  • Create and enhance marketing operations strategy for demand generation and demand capture programs and campaigns 
  • Partner with leaders from across the marketing team to support individual operations, data and reporting requirements.  
  • Partner with the head of Website to support improving the website functionality and performance, including traffic- and conversion rate optimisation  
  • Develop and drive marketing database strategies and execution in relation to consumer growth, segmentation, data cleanliness and completeness. 
  • Provide best practices campaign management for validated campaign MROI metrics as well as attribution across our lead sources and initiatives. 

Collaboration: 

As the Marketing Operations Manager, you are also the voice of Marketing when working cross-functionally with your counterparts and stakeholders from SalesOps and CSOps and FP&A members from the CFO function on adapting new practices and solutions, ensuring that changes to architecture is made in compliance and compatibility with marketing processes, data and attribution, which again ensures cohesive cross-functional solutions. 

Besides being an integral stakeholder and member of the global marketing team, you will be working closely with stakeholders outside the team: 

  • RevOps, CSOps, SalesOps on complete alignment and collaboration between systems, processes and data across the system architecture 
  • FP&A members from the CFO function to ensure currect reporting and marketing attribution using different multi-touch attribution models
  • Head of IT - Making sure our marketing technologies and systems are working seamlessly and pass all tests for compliance
  • Sales Leadership team - connecting marketing to the wider business platforms and ensuring end-to-end data flow and reporting for Leapwork.
  • Educate the marketing team on technology, processes, reporting, data and best practices 

Analytics and reporting

As a knowledge hub for insights and reporting, your role involves a dynamic push/pull function. This means you'll actively engage in both responding to requests for insights, and crafting dashboards and reports for team members, marketing leadership team and stakeholders in the business, as well as proactively offering relevant insights to assist the team in navigating and enhancing their performance.

  • Ensure that marketing data is being properly collected, connected across platforms and put into use in the business, to ensure data led and driven operation and decisions 
  • Ensure that we meet best practices and comply with privacy and other legislation (Eg. GDPR, cookie tracking etc) 
  • Manage data cleansing and purity. Ensure that data are appropriate, updated and relevant 

Marketing Technology Stack: 

Your expertise in HubSpot will be crucial in streamlining our marketing operations in and outside of Hubspot, as we’re operating in a sophisticated system architecture spanning a wide range of technologies, including Salesforce.

  • Manage and lead the Hubspot platform ensuring seamless synch with Salesforce 
  • Design, build and maintain the processes behind the marketing operations to ensure an excellent, reliable and measurable marketing operation. 
  • Review and improve existing processes as well as design new processes 
  • Key project leader on marketing tools 

About you: 

  • Structured - You’re accurate, systematic and methodical and good at organizing tasks and projects 
  • Technical proficiency – Broad and deep knowledge of marketing technologies, especially Hubspot 
  • Project management - Good at managing complex digital projects 
  • Team player and communicator - You’re an excellent team player and communicator and work well across teams and departments. 
  • Risk and compliance – You will manage risk and compliance so you need attention to details and have a laser sharp focus on quality. 
  • Adaptable – You need to be flexible to adapt strategies and tactics in a fast-paced environment. 

Required Skills: 

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations and CRM system management to power marketing programs 
  • Senior experience in marketing operations in a role combining strategic foresight with a hands-on mindset. 
  • Proficient in HubSpot Marketing Hub 
  • Experience in B2B sales and marketing programs 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights 
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (ideally in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or a related field) 
  • Experience managing projects and assignments independently 
  • Experience of successfully collaborating across teams and geographies 
  • HTML coding experience (basic preferred) 
  • Experience with Salesforce and Google Analytics (preferred)
