Evan Baehr has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Evan is currently the Managing Partner at Learn, a venture capital fund that invests in companies that empower and accelerate individuals. Prior to this, Evan was the Founder of Teneo Network, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that educated and connected outstanding leaders. Evan also served as a Board Member for the Adam Smith Society at the Manhattan Institute.
Evan is a co-founder of Able Lending, the world's first collaborative lender, which was later purchased by Fundation. Evan was also involved in Dorm Room Fund, a student-run venture firm that invested in student-run companies.
Earlier in their career, Evan co-founded Outbox Inc, a company that provided access to digital copies of mail. Evan also worked as a Storyteller at K+E Advisors, helping individuals persuade others through elegant storytelling. Evan collaborated with Halle Tecco, Nate Gross, and Bob Higgins at Rock Health to build an incubator for healthcare mobile applications. Evan was also part of the Facebook Developer Network, where they helped users bring their interests to the web.
Additionally, Evan served as an Advisor to Peter Thiel at Clarium Capital Management. Overall, Evan's work experience reflects their passion for entrepreneurship, venture capital, and promoting human flourishing.
Evan Baehr obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs from Princeton University in 2005. Evan then pursued a Master of Arts in Ethics and Law from Yale University from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they earned an MBA (with distinction) in Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School between 2009 and 2011.
