Steven Bengtson

Steven Bengtson has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Homemaker in 2018. In the same year, they also worked as a Software Developer at Bengtson.ca, where they developed an application using the ASP. Net Zero framework and C# and Angular 6. In 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Illumina, where they lead the progress of a new front end project called Maestro UI using Angular 4 and 5 and the Twitter Bootstrap UI framework. From 2013 to 2020, they held various roles, including Engineering Team Lead at Varsity Tutors, where they worked with Ruby on Rails to build an online tutoring and learning site, and C.T.O. / Software Developer at TimeMoneyStuff Inc., where they managed the technical requirements of the company to build out the website and mobile applications using PHP with the Symfony2 framework and a MySQL storage solution connected to the application through Doctrine. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer at AlayaCare and Epic for Kids, and in 2022 they began a role as Senior Staff Software Engineer at Learn to Win.

Steven Bengtson obtained a Diploma in Computer Systems Technology from Camosun College between 1997 and 2000, with a field of study in Computer Systems Technician.
