Christine T. D. has extensive experience in creative services and art/photo management. Christine T. began their career at MCA+ (formerly Morgan-Cain & Associates) in 2005 as a Scientific Illustrator/Photo Editor. In 2010, Christine joined Learning A-Z as a Photo Research and Permissions Specialist, before being promoted to Assistant Digital Assets Manager in 2012. Christine T. then became the Photo Research and Permissions Manager in 2013, overseeing the creation and procurement of photos for Learning A-Z products. From 2014 to 2018, Christine served as the Art & Photo Manager, where they managed a team of Art Buyers, Photo Researchers, and Illustrators. Christine T. continued to grow within the organization and became the Senior Art & Photo Manager in 2018, responsible for commissioning and procuring all photos and illustrations used in Learning A-Z products. In 2020, Christine was promoted to Creative Director, where they led and coached teams, managed budgets, and directed the art and design departments. Christine T. recently transitioned to the role of Director of Product Design in 2021. Finally, Christine is currently serving as the Senior Director of Creative Services at Learning A-Z. Overall, Christine T. D. has demonstrated a strong ability to oversee creative operations, lead teams, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality content for Learning A-Z.
Christine T. D. earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design and Visual Communications, with a focus on Illustration, from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, in 2004, they attended the Orvieto International Art Institute in Orvieto, Italy, where they pursued studies in Fine Arts and Art History.
In terms of additional certifications, Christine obtained the Women in Leadership Certificate from Cornell University in December 2019. In February 2020, they completed the Agile Foundations certification from LinkedIn. Christine T. further broadened their skill set by obtaining certifications such as User Experience: The Beginner's Guide in August 2021, Design Thinking: The Ultimate Guide in July 2022, and Human-Computer Interaction: The Foundations of UX Design in February 2023, all from The Interaction Design Foundation.
