Antony Smith

Dr. Antony Smith is an associate professor in the School of Educational Studies at the University of Washington, Bothell, where he teaches courses in teacher education, research methods, and literacy assessment and instruction. His current research projects focus on the intersection of reading and mathematics and how exploring children’s literature can help deepen comprehension, develop vocabulary knowledge, and increase motivation and engagement for children to become lifelong readers.
