Chris Snee has extensive work experience in various roles related to training, consultancy, and curriculum development. Starting in 1981, they worked as a social worker and senior social worker for Notts County Council, where they provided social work services to children and families, including crisis intervention and child protection. From 1990 to 2002, they worked as a lecturer in health and social care at Rother Valley College of FE. In 2002, they joined Tribal Group as a consultant in distance learning and care curriculum. Chris later became the director of employer engagement, managing a team and overseeing learner recruitment. In 2011, they founded CAS Associates, where they worked as a self-employed trainer, consultant, and business development manager. Chris provided curriculum development and assessment services to training providers and colleges of further education. In 2012, they took on the role of managing director at CAS Training Ltd, offering consultancy services to colleges and training providers on various aspects of distance learning and apprenticeships. Chris also worked with a team of trainers to deliver a range of care-related mandatory training courses.
Chris Snee obtained a BA Hons in Social work with CQSW from the University of Bradford from 1977 to 1981. Later, from 1996 to 1998, they pursued a PGCE in Education (FE) at the University of Bradford and the University of Huddersfield.
