Jefna M. Cohen

Jefna M. Cohen serves as an Associate Editor for Learning Forward, contributing to The Learning Professional magazine and managing various communications team content, including social media and blogs, since February 2023. With a background in freelance writing and editing since July 2014, Jefna specializes in SEO writing and editorial content. Previous experience includes serving as a Writing Assessment Rater for Education Northwest and a Teacher Consultant for Epic for Kids, where Jefna evaluated educational media. An accomplished educator, Jefna taught at various elementary schools from 2000 to 2020. Jefna holds a Bachelor's degree in French Studies and International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Portland State University.
