Tony Wagner

Senior Research Fellow at Learning Policy Institute

Tony Wagner is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in various capacities. Currently serving as a Board Member for Better World Ed and the Mastery Transcript Consortium®, Wagner is also part of the advisory board at Area9 Lyceum. As a Senior Research Fellow at the Learning Policy Institute since 2015, Wagner contributes to research in education. Previous roles include Expert in Residence at Harvard University Innovation Lab and Innovation Education Fellow at the Technology & Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard, focusing on innovation in education. Wagner co-founded and co-directed the Change Leadership Group at Harvard Graduate School of Education, which developed new strategies for educational change. Wagner holds an Ed.D. and a Master's in Teaching from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
