Achintya Kattemalavadi is a Lead Software Engineer and Co-Founder at LearningClues since May 2023, following a stint as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon from August 2021 to May 2023, where work focused on Digital Payments in Latin America. Prior to this, Achintya served as Team Lead for the LearningClues Project at the University of Michigan, overseeing website development and team management, as well as collaborating with the Lecture Capture team for integration into engineering courses. Additional experience includes roles as a Full-Stack Developer and Software Development Engineering Intern at Amazon, as well as engineering and research internships at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America and the University of Michigan. Achintya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering Physics from the University of Michigan and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley.

LearningClues
LearningClues analyzes class videos using large language models to create personalized study guides. LearningClues indexes what is said or visually presented in class to provide students the ability to search for specific moments across course videos and relate the material to external resources, like textbooks and documents in the course LMS. This ability to find moments reduces the time necessary to find needed information and greatly improves study efficiency. And LearningClues automatically summarizes what students should study based on what was spoken or visually presented during class. Students pick a period of interest, and LearningClues identifies the topics covered and automatically generates study guides, including flashcards, with definitions to help focus student study.
