Emma Buckle

Director, Learnlife Barcelona Eco Hub at Learnlife

Emma Buckle is the Director of Barcelona Eco Hub at Learnlife. Emma has over eight years of experience in global brand activations and social media management.

Emma started their career at Wall Street English, where they were the Global Social Media Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the design and execution of a corporate social media strategy for Wall Street English's 28 markets. Emma also provided training and support for community managers in each country to equip them to implement the strategy.

During their time at Wall Street English, Emma successfully deployed the global rebranding process in 2013 across all social media channels via a global content campaign and toolkit. Emma also increased website traffic from Facebook from 2% to 24%.

In April 2015, Emma joined Pearson as the Global Brand Activations Senior Manager. In this role, they worked with marketing directors to bring the Pearson brand to life through activation channels, campaigns and content. Emma was also responsible for award-winning campaigns for social impact and building brand awareness.

Some of Emma's notable achievements include increasing sales by up to 100k USD from paid campaigns and Facebook ads that deliver up to 8x ROI.

Emma Buckle graduated with a post-graduate certificate in Periodical Journalism from the University of the Arts London. Emma then went on to earn their Postgraduate Diploma in Video Journalism from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Lastly, they completed their BA JHons (Licenciatura) in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Nottingham.

Emma Buckle reports to Christopher Pommerening, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Emma Henriquez - Community Host, Barcelona Eco Hub, Milena Villar - Community Host, Afternoons, and Ulrike Suwwan - Chief Impact Officer.
