Joris Geelen

Joris Geelen is an experienced educator specializing in Dutch language and literature, currently serving as a Lerarenopleider and Docent at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) since May 2015, where responsibilities include teaching various aspects of literature and didactics. Since January 2018, Joris has also been involved in teaching Dutch as a second language at Learnlight. Past roles include Projectmedewerker at Cito, focusing on the transition from secondary to higher education, and Docent at Stedelijke Scholengemeenschap Nijmegen, covering both lower and upper levels of Dutch language and literature. Additionally, Joris has offered instruction in modern Dutch and Flemish literature at Radboud University. Editorial experience includes roles at Komkommer & Kwel and Stichting Onbederf'lijk Vers, along with prior retail management at Multi-Vlaai. Joris holds a Master's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Dutch language and literature from Radboud University.
