The Give Back Collaborative, Inc. employed the individual in 2014 as an After-school STEM Enrichment Programming. Prior to this, the individual worked as a Master Teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools from 2008 to 2014. From 2005 to 2008, the individual was a Teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools. In 2015, the individual worked as a Curriculum Developer at LearnZillion. In 2014, the individual was an Instructional Coach at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), where they facilitated teachers' understanding and implementation of the Common Core State Standards and the DCPS Teaching and Learning Framework by developing and executing Collaborative and Individual Learning Cycles.

The Give Back Collaborative, Inc. holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Afro-American Studies from Howard University, which was obtained between 2000 and 2004. They also hold a Master of Education (MEd) in Elementary Education and Teaching, which was obtained from Howard University between 2004 and 2005. In addition, they have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General, which was obtained from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2012 and 2014. Lastly, they have a Marketing degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which was obtained from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business between 2004 and 2006. They also hold two certifications: a NAA Ambassador from the National AfterSchool Association (NAA) obtained in 2016 and an Advanced Professional Certificate/Regular II from the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) obtained in 2005.
