John Balmforth

John Balmforth is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in lease accounting and customer support. Currently serving as the Accounting Solutions Manager at LeaseQuery since January 2021, John leads a team focused on onboarding new clients to the LeaseQuery platform while ensuring adherence to lease accounting standards such as ASC 842, IFRS 16, and GASB 87. Previously, John worked as a Lease Accounting Software Consultant at CoStar Real Estate Manager where coordination with product and client services teams improved customer communication during a transition in accounting standards. John's experience also includes a senior accounting role at The Coca-Cola Company, where oversight of accounts receivable and extensive reconciliation tasks were performed, along with prior positions in accounting and tax preparation.
