Wes Thornsbury

Wes Thornsbury has extensive work experience as a software engineer and developer. Wes is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at LeaseQuery, where they previously served as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, Wes worked at PartsBase Inc. as a Senior Full Stack Developer. Wes also worked at STORIS, Inc. in various roles, including Software Developer 3, Senior Web Developer, and Web Developer. Before joining STORIS, Wes gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer I at Aplicor, where they led a team of developers and collaborated with stakeholders to design solutions. Wes also has experience as a Freelance Web Developer, specializing in custom web development using PHP, Python, and .Net frameworks. Earlier in their career, they worked at the Palm Beach County School District and McAuley Woods & Associates as a Secondary Technical Support and Technology Specialist, respectively. Wes has expertise in web development, database management, hardware and software maintenance, and disaster recovery planning.

Wes Thornsbury attended Palm Beach State College from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies. Wes then went on to attend Florida State University from 2012 to 2016, majoring in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in "Data Manipulation at Scale: Systems and Algorithms" from Coursera Course Certificates in 2015, and "Intro to Artificial Intelligence with Highest Distinction" from Udacity in 2014.
