Director Of Standards at Leather Working Group

Victoria Snelling currently serves as the Director of Standards at the Leather Working Group since March 2025. Prior experience includes various roles at BSI from December 2009 to February 2025, culminating as Head of Content Development for Standards Projects and Programmes, along with positions focusing on additive and digital manufacturing. Additional coaching experience was gained at Boudica Coaching from September 2015 to July 2019. Victoria has held several managerial roles at The Institution of Engineering and Technology, both from May 2009 to November 2009 and from April 2002 to September 2007. Early career experience includes positions as Senior Researcher and Editor at World Markets Research Centre and Phillips Business Information, respectively. Victoria's education includes a Level 7 post-graduate diploma in Leadership and Management from Hult Ashridge Executive Education, a certificate in Executive Women in Leadership from Cornell University, and a BA in Law and International Studies from Coventry University.

Leather Working Group

Leather Working Group is a not-for-profit organisation that unites its global stakeholders in a mission to reduce the environmental impact of the leather industry. The group sets the LWG Audit Standard of environmental and social criteria against which tanneries are independently measured and certified, and through a process of continual review and improvement continues to advance responsible environmental practices in the leather supply chain.
