Cameron Martino is the Founder & CEO of Leaven Foods, joining the company in September 2022. Prior to this role, Cameron worked as a Ph.D. Student Researcher at the University of California, San Diego in the Rob Knight Lab. Cameron also served as the Interim Chief Scientific Officer at Native Microbials, Inc., focusing on animal health and nutrition microbial solutions. With a background in bioengineering and bioinformatics, Cameron has a strong foundation in using microbiology-focused tools and equipment. Throughout Cameron's academic and professional career, their work has centered around innovative technologies and solutions in the fields of bioengineering and applied physics.
