Sara Ganim is an accomplished journalist and educator with extensive experience in academia and media. Ganim currently serves as an adjunct professor at both the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Additionally, Ganim holds the position of journalist in residence at the Consortium on Trust in Media and Technology. Notable achievements include the creation of the award-winning podcast "Why Don't We Know" and recognition as a podcast host for "The Mayor of Maple Avenue," which won the Keystone award. Ganim's journalism accolades include a Sigma Delta Chi Award, an Emmy nomination, and a 2012 Pulitzer Prize for local reporting. Ganim also contributes to Lebanese American University as a member of the Board of Trustees. Ganim graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Penn State University.
