Hala Jalwan

Hala Jalwan is a board member at LebNet and a former product manager at Google and Facebook. Hala has also worked as a civil engineer.

Jalwan began their career as a civil engineer with the Bechtel Corporation, working on the Crossrail project. Hala then transitioned to Apple before joining Facebook in 2014 as a product manager.

At Facebook, Jalwan was responsible for building the shopping platform that enabled Facebook to ship 1P hardware products at scale across multiple channels. In 2018, they became lead product manager for the team responsible for improving customer satisfaction for Facebook consumer hardware.

Jalwan joined Google in 2019 as a product manager for the Google Assistant for home speakers, TV, and displays. In this role, they were responsible for building products that enable helpful and seamless experiences that work across people, devices, and services in the home.

Jalwan has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Stanford University.

Hala Jalwan has a Master of Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from American University of Beirut in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Hala also has a certification from UC Berkeley Executive Education in Product Mangement.
