Elena Yarmy

Elena Yarmy is a dedicated medical student at LECOM - Bradenton since July 2017, bringing diverse experiences in education and research. Prior to medical school, Elena served as an eighth-grade science teacher assistant at Great Oaks Charter Schools, where responsibilities included classroom management and student support. Elena also worked as a research assistant at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, contributing to projects in transportation within the Biosciences department. Additional roles include visitor service specialist at the University of Michigan, administrative intern at FreeWheel, and sales associate at Abercrombie & Fitch. Elena holds a Bachelor's of Science and Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Michigan, complemented by a high school diploma from Royal Oak High School.
